Steps

• Open the picture in Preview > choose Edit > Select All > again select Edit > Copy
• Go to the file or folder whose icon you want to replace. Select File > Get Info (alternatively you can right click on the file or folder and select ‘Get Info’)

• At the top of the Info window > click of the picture of the icon > choose Edit > Paste

Steps

1. Select the file or folder that has the source image > choose File > Get Info > Select the icon at the top of the Info Window > Choose Edit > Copy
